On June 12th, 2009, Larry, Todd, Jason, and Zak Kroepel will embark on their first ever long distance motorcycle adventure. While the ride started out as a trip to provide a great opportunity for some family bonding, we decided to try and do something above and beyond a simple trip. We are raising money for Rady Children's Hospital in San Diego, CA.
With current the economic conditions, we understand that donations aren't quite as easy to make as they may have been a year ago, but that doesn't mean that great organizations such as the Children's Hospital don't need resources to continue their high level of service to the community. All we ask is that you donate ONE CENT per mile of our ride. 2,448 miles (as far as I know), which works out to $24.48, just in case you don't have a calculator handy... If you are able to donate more, great!! But any amount helps, and 100% of all money donated will go directly to the Children's Hospital. In fact, we ask that all checks be made out to Rady Children's to simplify the whole process.
We've set a goal to raise $10,000, and while we are aware that an amount like that may seem like a lofty goal, we're already well on the way and are confident that with your help, we'll have no problem reaching our goal. Send us an email if you'd like to contribute to our cause. Thank you for your support!!
